Recently, wheat market in Jiangsu showed steady to upward trend after increasing hardly in April.

　　Southern Jiangsu (Nanjing, Wuxi): many flour processing enterprises stop operation due to many reasons. The in-warehouse price for grade 2 normal white wheat was 1120-1130 RMB per ton, up 10 RMB per ton from late April. The in-factory price for medium feed wheat was 1045 RMB per ton, down 5 RMB per ton from late April.

　　Central Jiangsu (Nantong, Taizhou): the wholesale price for grade 2 red wheat in purchase and sale enterprises was 1145 RMB per ton; the sale price for grade 2 white wheat was about 1125 RMB per ton, up 5 RMB per ton from late April.
　　
　　Northern Jiangsu: the procurement price for grade 3 normal white wheat in Salt City flour processing enterprises was about 1080 RMB per ton, up 10 RMB per ton from late April. The procurement price for white wheat offered by Huai’an flour processing enterprises was 1090-1100 RMB per ton, which gluten content was over 30% and test weight was 0.77-0.78 kilogram per liter, up 10 RMB per ton from late April; the procurement price for grade 3 normal white wheat in purchase and sale enterprises was about 1020 RMB per ton,and ex-warehouse price was about 1040 RMB per ton, up 5-10 RMB per ton from late April.

　　Wheat price in Lianyungang increased sharply, due to decreasing supply. The ex-warehouse price for grade 2 red wheat was 1130-1140 RMB per ton , up 30-40 RMB per ton from early April; the procurement price for white wheat offered by flour processing enterprises was 1100-1120 RMB per ton,which gluten content was over 30% and test weight was 0.77-0.78 kilogram per liter, up 10 RMB per ton from late April. The procurement price for grade 2 normal white wheat in Xuzhou flour processing enterprises was about 1085 RMB per ton, up 5 RMB per ton from late April; the procurement price for grade 3 normal white wheat in flour processing enterprises was 1070 RMB per ton, up 10 RMB per ton from late April.
